DeVonte’ ‘DJ’ Jackson (he/him) serves as a Student Advisor at The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis. In this role, DJ works to support students throughout their entire postsecondary journey. His unwavering commitment lies in cultivating connections and offering direction within education and personal development, with a special focus on youth and young adults. He places a priority on attentively understanding each student, gaining their confidence, and bolstering them along their journey.
Prior to joining the Foundation, DJ served as a Student Success Advisor and Career Specialist, respectively at St. Louis Community College. DJ also engaged in community and youth work in roles at Amanda Luckett Hopewell Center and Family and Workforce Centers of America. DJ earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Missouri State University. In his free time, you can find him immersing himself in culinary pursuits, crafting juices and smoothies, embarking on nature walks, and dedicating time to the practice of yoga.
