FLOURISH is The Scholarship Foundation’s mental health program that provides support to Foundation students who desire high-quality mental health care. Through Flourish, The Scholarship Foundation covers the cost for students to attend therapy for up to 24 sessions per year.

The Foundation recognizes that stress may be an expected part of being a college student; however, it also knows that the current stressors students face are significant. Students have expressed to the Foundation that mental health care on campus can be difficult to access and sometimes insufficient. The Foundation believes that providing access to high-quality, affordable mental health care is critical to students’ well-being and success.

The decision to attend therapy is a courageous one—and very personal. Scholarship Foundation students wishing to learn more or participate may contact the Director of Advising, Teresa Steinkamp, at flourish@sfstl.org. You can expect respect, compassion, and confidentiality when discussing your questions or concerns. In addition, the following resources are available as you decide how to proceed:
