The Scholarship Foundation Welcomes Two New Student Advisors

Thanks to generous support from the Ann and Paul Arenberg Family and the Jefferson Foundation, The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis is pleased to announce the addition of two part-time Student Advisors.

Robert Sagastume joins the Foundation as Student Advisor for the Arenberg Partner Fund Advising Program, working exclusively with seniors engaged through five partner programs: Beyond Housing, Epworth Children and Family Services, Kingdom House, De La Salle, Inc., and Marian Middle School. Robert brings a wealth of personal and professional experience to the position, as well as tremendous passion and excitement. Robert will graduate in December with his MSW from Washington University’s Brown School of Social Work. His past professional experience includes advocacy work with Kansas Missouri Dream Alliance (KSMODA) and practicum work with Kingdom House. Robert’s interests in program and service delivery and in public policy are well aligned with the work of The Scholarship Foundation.

Amanda Winnick joins the Foundation as the Jefferson County Student Advisor, supporting students on the path to college. The new position will allow for expanded support with students in Jefferson County. In addition to continuing work with existing partner schools (Grandview, Hillsboro, and Northwest), Amanda will build new relationships with four new high schools in adjoining school districts. Amanda has been engaged with the Foundation reading renewing student applications and has worked as a Student Advocate for The Scholarship Foundation in the past. She is currently completing a master’s in counseling at Lindenwood University and will graduate in August 2019.
