The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis was recently awarded an $85,000 College Access Challenge Grant from Missouri Department of Higher Education (MDHE). These grants were created in 2007 to increase the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education. The Foundation was one of 21 recipients who received funds from MDHE this year.
This grant will support the Foundation’s Student Advocate and Advising Program, increasing the number of underrepresented and low-income students helped by expanding the service area. Through this program, students will receive assistance with FAFSA completion, financial aid applications, postsecondary opportunities, financial literacy, and educational debt.
