On Saturday, Feb. 21, The Foundation will have the last FAFSA Completion Clinic to help students complete the 2015-2016 FAFSA before the U.S. Department of Education changes the process to access the online application. The Foundation’s Student Advisors will provide students and families free hands-on training every half-hour from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Changes in how students access the FAFSA form online are to occur April 26, 2015 as the system will no longer require Student Aid PINs, and moves to using Federal Student Aid IDs, a user-selected username and password.
To register, email info@sfstlouis.wpenginepowered.com or call 314-725-7990.
Families attending the last FAFSA Completion Clinic should bring the following information with them for both student and parent(s):
- 2014 tax returns
- W2 forms
- Social security numbers
- Birth dates
- An understanding of cash, savings, and checking account balances
- Student’s driver’s license (if possible)
Families who have not filed their 2014 taxes should not feel discouraged; bringing 2013 tax returns is acceptable. Families who will not file taxes can still complete the FAFSA.
