This is not everything, but it is many important things. Not an annual report or an audit, these are some fun facts that might help tell the story of what keeps us so busy at The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis.

OUTREACH AND ADVISING

  • 27,000 Unique visitors came to our website
  • 12,491 Miles our staff travelled to reach students
  • 7,335 Contacts with awarded students (text, email, phone call, appointment)
  • 2,196 Students and family members attended one of 104 outreach events
  • 958 Complete applications received

SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS AWARDED

  • $3,700,171 Awarded in grants to 404 students
  • $9,159 Average scholarship grant
  • 25 Scholarship grant programs offered

LOANS MADE AND REPAID

  • $2,281,585 Repayments made (a historic high and $233,879 beyond budget)
  • $1,359,800 Awarded in interest-free loans to 179 students
  • $7,597 Average interest-free loan
  • 145 Loans repaid in full

COMMUNITY DOLLARS AND DEDICATION

  • $5,900,000 Gifts and grants
  • 1,300 Hours board members spent in meetings
  • 1,100 Contributions received
  • 39 Major gifts over $10,000 made by corporate/foundation donors
  • 30 Major gifts over $10,000 made by individuals

STAFF STABILITY AND GROWTH

  • 372 Total hours staff spent supported in peer process group (62 hours each, 6 staff)
  • 7 New staff members (41% of our team of 17)
