Recently, our staff took 90 minutes for a “good news only” staff meeting amidst an application cycle harder than any other we have experienced (and if you’re wondering why, click here for a word from April 15). We took a team photo after three-minute reports of department accomplishments (advancement, advocacy, finance, IT, and program) and a remarkable round of “anonymous affirmations” in which we provided each other assurance that we each uniquely belong and are strong enough to succeed. We were reminded that together we make the work of The Scholarship Foundation matter all the more in the community and the lives of our young people.
Please take a moment to meet the staff of The Scholarship Foundation by way of our names, titles, and a few words about each of us that one of our colleagues anonymously offered as affirmation.

Behind the work of the staff and board are 1,000 generous donors, 2,000 students in the process of applying for funding, and countless roots in this community spanning 104 years. It’s hard to picture all that people-power, so you’ll have to just take it on faith.
