The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis and The League of Student Advocates invites applications for the paid 2021-2022 Policy Fellowship Program.

Funded through the generous support of The Deaconess and Equifax Foundations, this hands-on, paid fellowship program consists of Fellows advocating at the federal, state, and institutional policy level to increase college access and affordability. Fellows are equipped with the resources, training, and context to advance a student-led agenda for higher education in Missouri. In addition, Fellows will be able to learn how historical, financial, and systems issues have impacted college accessibility and then explore campaigns that seek to get closer to equity in higher education. The overall goal is to ensure students who are primarily left out of these types of discussions are not only included in them, but able to lead them. Join the Foundation and the League of Student Advocates in advancing racial and economic equity in higher education.

Applications are welcome from current and former students funded by the Scholarship Foundation. Fellows are paid in range of $20-25 per hour for training and time spent during the Fellowship.

Applications for the Policy Fellowship Program are due by 11:59pm Thursday, November 18, 2021. The Policy Fellowship Program orientation will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021. If transportation, connectivity, or access to a device may hinder you form participating in the Fellowship Program, please email Advocacy Director, Karina Arango karina@sfstl.org
