The Scholarship Foundation is pleased to announce that Jenny Weber will join the staff as Director of Advancement on March 15, 2023.
Weber comes to the Foundation from College Bound-St. Louis, one of the Foundation’s longtime partners in college attainment for low-income students, where she has been on staff since 2016 and most recently served as Interim Executive Director. Prior to that role, she served as Vice President and Chief Development Officer following her work as Director of Development there.
Prior to her tenure at College Bound, Weber held development positions at Washington University and Teach for America. She earned her bachelor’s in sociology with concentration in gender and women’s studies at Grinnell College.
Weber is an ethical fundraiser who cares deeply about building relationships and is dedicated to forging a brighter future for our region. In expressing her interest in the Scholarship Foundation’s Director of Advancement position, she wrote “I would be hard pressed to find a better place to continue my career in fundraising, college access and completion…I share the belief in the urgency of this work given the state of our democracy, the student debt crisis, and what we all stand to gain by having a more educated and empowered community.”
Weber’s combination of experience and commitment to the mission and work of The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis and its students makes her an excellent addition to the staff.
