Jack Taylor Family Donates $500,000 To Assist St. Louis Students

The family of Jack Taylor, the founder of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, has generously gifted the Foundation $500,000 to support students with significant financial need, especially those residing in north St. Louis City and north St. Louis County. The gift will support scholarship grants for students to use for up to eight academic semesters. Students will also be able to participate in other Foundation programs and services.

Jo Ann Taylor Kindle, Taylor’s daughter and president of the Enterprise Holdings Foundation, recently remarked to The St. Louis Post-Dispatch

My father instilled in all of us a strong belief in giving back to the community, especially here in our home town of St. Louis…These donations complement past contributions we’ve made to organizations that meet many community needs and expand opportunities for youth. We see an even greater need today to continue supporting organizations that make life better in our underserved communities — especially for the young people in those communities who are St. Louis’ future.

The Foundation is grateful to the family of Jack Taylor for their support and confidence. Foundation Executive Director Faith Sandler says

We are so honored to receive this generous grant to support students that have the potential to succeed. Our community will be stronger as a result.
