The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis is pleased to announce that Dr. Cara Jones joins the staff as Director of Data, Systems, & Strategy on September 15, 2026.
Dr. Jones brings more than a decade of experience in data and systems leadership, most recently as a member of the senior executive leadership team at a Texas-based early childhood education nonprofit, where she owned research, data and performance functions across a $250 million organization serving more than 18,000 children and families annually. There, she led a data team, built out the organization’s core reporting infrastructure, and managed the CRM and data platforms that connected programs to leadership decision-making.
Dr. Jones started her career as a high school English teacher before moving into data and systems roles across public education and the nonprofit sector. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Texas Christian University, and across that path, one belief has stayed constant: data is only meaningful when it’s tethered to the students, families and communities behind it. She is committed to using data and technology as tools for equitable access and institutional impact, goals critical to the work of The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis.
