Leah is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a provisionally licensed clinical social worker under the supervision of Stephanie Gerlek. Leah uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing in her practice; after living in Indonesia, she was exposed to more holistic practices that include mind, body, and spirit components. She has also been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). After growing up in Asia, Leah understands the challenges individuals face during times of transition and adjustment, including college students, as well as refugees and immigrants. In addition to EMDR, Leah specializes in holistic therapy, autism, and ADHD. Please note that Leah does offer early morning appointments, at 7:00am.
