Eric is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) under the supervision of Emily Viet, MO License #2012032191. Eric recognizes that to partake in the full human experience means to experience suffering. Whether it be grief, excessive guilt, or a painful past, we all have pain that is worthy of being listened to. He believes our struggles are only exacerbated when we resist and do not listen to what needs to be expressed. Eric likes to imagine therapy as going on a walk. Along the walk we’ll find some parts of ourselves that may be hurting, some parts that may be protective, and other parts that might just hold the keys to healing. Eric would like to invite you to join him for a walk together and gain a deeper sense of self. He is confident that the further together you walk, you will find a pathway to relief, healing, and wholeness. Eric focuses on queer identity development, depression, refugee trauma, quarter-life crises, life transitions, and feeling “stuck.”
