Cassidy is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), under the supervision of Christina Clark (LPC), and a member of the queer community. Her therapeutic approach is deeply relational, as she believes healing happens through connection, not correction. Her practice is informed by feminist and queer theories, which guide her in understanding how systems of power and oppression shape our experiences. She is especially passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ folks explore their identity, intimacy, and resilience within and beyond these contexts. Cassidy uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Trauma-Informed Treatment, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness, as well as body-based interventions to weave together a holistic approach to emotional healing.
