Annie is a provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) under the supervision of Jill Harding. In their practice, Annie primarily uses person centered therapy, because it is led by compassion and empathy, which she feels are invaluable as a therapist. They work with trauma, so they also use trauma informed treatments, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). In addition, they use Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Annie serves many queer, trans, and LGBTQIA+ clients. Annie believes that therapy should be a basic human right, and that everyone deserves access to someone they can untangle their minds with safely and without judgment.
