The Scholarship Foundation’s three-part workshop series on financial aid is designed to provide students and families with the necessary information to make informed decisions about college enrollment and affordability.  

In the FAFSA Workshop, part one of The Scholarship Foundation’s three-part workshop series, you will learn the basics of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA: what it is, why it is important, how to complete it accurately, and how to submit it early! This includes understanding the difference between a dependent and independent student; the importance of the Federal Student Aid ID (or StudentAid.gov account); and how to complete the form if you have special circumstances.
