Equifax Finance Scholarship

Equifax is one of the largest consumer credit reporting agencies in the United States, providing consumer and commercial data and analytics to businesses, and helping consumers manage their credit information and protect their identities. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Equifax operates or has investments in 24 countries in North America, Central and South America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region, and employs approximately 10,100 employees worldwide. Equifax is actively involved in giving back to the communities where they are located through activities such as employee-led fundraising campaigns and hands-on volunteerism. Equifax has been instrumental in supporting and promoting projects that improve financial literacy and financial capability, especially for typically underresourced populations.

The Equifax Finance Scholarship (a component of the Equifax Finance Fellowship) promotes financial literacy and financial capability as tools for economic empowerment. Students must be pursuing a degree in finance, economics, or business administration to qualify. In addition, scholars will have the opportunity to participate in paid internships for $5,000 annually. Preference will be given to those attending schools within the St. Louis metropolitan area.

The Equifax Finance Scholarship is a renewable grant of up to $10,000 per year. Interested students should go to MyScholarshipCentral.org, follow the instructions to complete the General Application and then submit the supplemental application for the Scholarship Foundation Interest-free loan. Automatic consideration for this grant is included when applying to the Scholarship Foundation Interest-free Loan. Completed applications and all required supporting documents must be submitted by April 15. Awards will be announced in June.
