The Scholarship Foundation is pleased to announce that DeVonte’ (DJ) Jackson will join the staff as Student Advisor on August 7, 2023.
DJ comes to the Foundation from St. Louis Community College, where he has served as a Student Success Advisor and, prior to that role, a Career Specialist. Before beginning at the community college, DJ engaged in community and youth work in roles at Amanda Luckett Hopewell Center and Family and Workforce Centers of America. DJ earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Missouri State University.
An individual who exhibits a deep commitment to relationship building, especially with youth and young adults pursuing education, DJ understands that no two students are the same. He is committed to listening to each student, earning their trust, and supporting them on their journey.
DJ’s experience and approach make him a wonderful addition to the Student Advising Team of The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis. Welcome, DJ!
