2025 Results Show Continued Success for Foundation Students

In a year that was exceptionally challenging for college students, Scholarship Foundation students continue to succeed in ways and at levels well above their peers nationwide. Key Performance Indicators, Program Dashboards and the Equity Dashboard for the Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis have been updated with 2025 results:

  • TOTAL STUDENT FUNDING STEADY: The Scholarship Foundation provided funding of approximately $6.5M to 546 students in 2025.
  • GRANTS INCREASED, LOANS DECREASED: Total loans of $1.077M decreased almost 12% from the previous year, and total grants increased slightly to a new high of $5.4M. Similarly, the total number of students receiving loans decreased, and the number of students receiving grants increased, including 395 students who did not require a loan at all because the grant sufficiently closed the gap in their higher education financing.
  • GRADUATION RATES FAR OUTPACE NATIONAL AVERAGES: The Scholarship Foundation publishes an average 6-yr Graduation Rate. With the 2025 data included, that average has changed from 72% to 70%, and is still well above the national benchmark average for all students of 61% and far better than the latest benchmark from the Pell Institute for low-income students of 16%
  • PROGRESS TOWARD ECONOMIC AND RACIAL EQUITY CONTINUES: The Scholarship Foundation demonstrates its commitment to matters of racial and economic equity, publishing an Equity Dashboard now including 5 full years of data about our students, staff, and board.

Presenting data in this interactive format on the Foundation’s website is an important part of the organization’s ongoing commitment to accountability and transparency. Please feel free to explore the data further and direct any questions or comments to Rob Foley, Director of Information Technology.
