The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis seeks candidates for Repayment Manager, a new position reporting to the Senior Director of Programs. Responsibilities include managing the interest-free loan repayment program, communicating with borrowers, and keeping organization leadership informed of the progress of the program. Successful candidates will understand the organization’s mission and programs from their own lived experiences and demonstrate a commitment to racial and economic equity.
Necessary skills include administrative experience, project management skills, and competencies in data collection, analysis, and reporting. The Repayment Manager will balance building and maintaining effective relationships with borrowers with efficiently managing repayment adjustments and delinquent accounts, including referrals to third-party collections. Adherence to board approved policies, consistency in account monitoring, accuracy, and attention to detail are required.
As part of the program team, this position serves as a resource on student lending and relevant developments in federal loan programs and will interface with adjacent departments of information technology, development, and finance. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and five years of related professional experience, preferably in accounts receivable or collections.
Salary range for this position is $61,070 – $91,605
