The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis seeks candidates for an Office Administrator. This position reports to the Senior Director of Programs as it primarily supports program functions, however, is responsible for general administrative support across all departments. The Office Administrator is often the primary point of contact for inquiries from the community and requires excellent communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail, confidentiality in handling people and information, and an understanding of the organization’s mission and programs from their own lived experiences and demonstrate a commitment to racial and economic equity.

Responsibilities of this position include managing the flow of incoming communications, processing and serving as in internal control point for sensitive and confidential mail and assisting with data management and reporting. Other administrative support includes assisting with planning Foundation events, providing guidance to families throughout the application process, support in monitoring, receiving, and sending correspondence; and facilitating referrals to student advisors for students who need support.

A successful candidate in the position will build rapport across the organization, seek positive solutions to conflict and display empathy and tolerance of diverse viewpoints. Minimum qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent experience, strong computer skills, ability and willingness to learn, and must possess a strong desire to help students!

Salary range for this position is $38,673 – $54,142
