On May 14, 2015, ScholarShop will debut an innovative fashion boutique on wheels called MIKI’S CLOSET BY SCHOLARSHOP. Miki’s Closet by ScholarShop will travel to events and locations throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area selling upscale men’s and women’s apparel, jewelry, and accessories that have been carefully selected from the annual donations of more than 8,000 households and businesses in the St. Louis region. Named in memory of businesswoman and philanthropist, Miki Zimring, the mobile fashion truck is designed to extend the reach of the Foundation’s two ScholarShop locations, which have served the St. Louis community since 1960.
Miki’s Closet by ScholarShop will debut at an inaugural fashion event on Thursday, May 14th at The Ritz-Carlton St. Louis, 100 Carondelet Plaza. A VIP Reception will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by the Luncheon at 12:00 p.m. The event will feature guest speaker, CHRISTOS GARKINOS. Garkinos is co-owner of Decades, a retail haven for celebrities, stylists and fashionistas, and has made the Los Angeles-based luxury consignment boutique an international shopping destination.
Proceeds from the event will benefit The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis. Tickets are available at the following levels:
Stylist: $75.00, includes Luncheon and Speaker
Fashionista: $150.00, includes Luncheon plus VIP Cocktail Reception with Christos Garkinos at 11:00 a.m., Ritz-Carlton Wine Room
Hats Off Club: $500.00, includes 2 VIP Fashionista tickets and recognition in the event program
VIP table of 10: $1,250, includes 10 guests and VIP Cocktail Reception.
