In 2015, with support from the Trio Foundation of St. Louis, The Scholarship Foundation searched for and engaged an independent evaluator to assess its Student Advising Program. LS Associates, a consulting collaborative based in St. Louis, conducted an external evaluation of the program by gathering and analyzing information from three sources: accessing college enrollment data from the National Student Clearinghouse, surveying current and past advising participants, and interviewing and surveying representatives from key high school and organizational partners.
