2021 Grant Program Info Sessions

The Scholarship Foundation will be hosting virtual information sessions on several of the grant programs being offered this year. Please join us for any or all of these information sessions by clicking one or more of the registration links below to sign up:

BJC Scholars Fund:
The BJC Scholars Fund is a renewable scholarship of $10,000 per year. In addition to meeting The Scholarship Foundation’s eligibility criteria for academics, character, and financial need, qualified candidates for this scholarship must also reside in a county served by BJC HealthCare (St. Louis City and St. Louis County, St. Charles County, St. Francois County, and Crawford County in Missouri; Madison and St. Clair counties in Illinois), be a graduating high school senior, and plan to attend a public, four-year college in their home state.


Deaconess Foundation Nursing Scholarship:
The Deaconess Foundation Nursing Scholarship is a renewable scholarship of up to $10,000 per year. In addition to meeting The Scholarship Foundation’s eligibility criteria for academics, character, and financial need, qualified candidates for this scholarship will also be pursuing a degree in nursing.


rootEd Undergraduate Scholarship:

The rootEd Undergraduate Scholarship is a renewable scholarship of up to $10,000 per year. In addition to meeting The Scholarship Foundation’s eligibility criteria for academics, character, and financial need, qualified candidates for this scholarship must also be a graduating high school senior from an eligible rural high school.


Neil Molloy Memorial Scholarship:

The Neil Molloy Memorial Scholarship is a renewable scholarship of $3,000 per year. In addition to meeting The Scholarship Foundation’s eligibility criteria for academics, character, and financial need, qualified candidates for this scholarship must also be a resident or client of the Housing Authority of St. Louis County.


rootEd Community College Transfer Scholarship:

The rootEd Community College Transfer Scholarship is a renewable scholarship of up to $10,000 per year. In addition to meeting The Scholarship Foundation’s eligibility criteria for academics, character, and financial need, qualified candidates for this scholarship must also be transferring from an eligible community college (East Central College, Ozarks Technical Community College, State Fair Community College, and Three Rivers Community College) and have graduated from high school in a rural community within the past five years.


Horizon Housing Foundation Scholarship:

The Horizon Housing Scholarship is a renewable scholarship of up to $3,000 per year. In addition to meeting The Scholarship Foundation’s eligibility criteria for academics, character, and financial need, qualified candidates for this scholarship must also be a resident of a Horizon Housing property.


Ava’s Grace Scholarship:

The Ava’s Grace Scholarship is a renewable scholarship of up to $5,000 per year. In addition to meeting The Scholarship Foundation’s eligibility criteria for academics, character, and financial need, qualified candidates for this scholarship must have experienced past or present incarceration of a parent.
