Robert Sagastume (he/they) serves as a Student Advisor at The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis. Robert’s responsibilities are to provide individuals with information to further support their own decisions and foster students’ autonomy. In addition to working with individual students across the St. Louis metro area, Robert provides advising and coaching at community sites, specifically Beyond Housing, Epworth, De La Salle Inc., LifeWise, Marian Middle School, and the St. Louis Internship Program (SLIP). Robert’s support extends to current New Era scholars and prospective New Era Scholars who are senior high school students participating in College Bound and SLIP. Originally from Honduras, Robert grew up in Kansas City and now calls St. Louis home. They are a graduate of Johnson County Community College, The University of Kansas, and the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis.
